On Wednesday 8 November we had Googababinj visit us to share his knowledge of his place, Darumbal country (Rockhampton). He told us some great stories which all had very clear lessons; whether it be how to catch fish in the dam or when not to go into the water. He also shared the way his people keep warm, keep dry, use different boomerangs for different purposes and then ... played his didgeridoo. What was extra special was he also recognised what a special place Tasmania is - he reckons we are blessed.
