The Grade 4/5's have been learning about British Colonisation.

We researched penal and free settler colonies and what some of the differences were between them.

Free settler colonies were for the innocent people and penal colonies were for the criminals.

We worked in groups to research a penal colony of our choice and we created dioramas, descriptive text and Venn diagrams.
