About me: I am Matilda in kindergartens mum, and currently work part time in the community services sector.

Random fact about you:   In my spare time I absolutely love going on adventures and finding new places to explore.

Why did you join the school association? To feel a greater connection to the school, and to be able to help support the school community to the best of my abilities.

Name:        Temeka Jackson

Role:         Parent member

About me: I am Mum to Benson Jackson in Prep with Mrs Gleeson, Meika and Mr Snare. Currently I study full-time at the University of Tasmania on the Burnie Campus to become a qualified Registered Nurse next year. 

Hobbies:I love swimming at the pool and beach with my family.

Why did I join the School Association? So that I can help contribute to Havenview Primary School and I love to interact with people. 

Where can you find me: Usually around the Prep/1 class room most morning and afternoons

Random fact: Three generations of my family have attended Havenview Primary School. In 1970, when we first moved to the area, there was a wooden equipment shed in what is now the Kinder play area. Students climbed up the stairs to go down the metal slide attached to the roof of the shed! 
Why did you join the School Association? It really does take a village to raise a child and a school should be a central part of the “village”. At Havenview, children, and their families, are able to access trusted adults, including members of both the Association and the Parent Group, who can provide a safe and supportive environment…and this is why I joined.

Where you can find me:  Near the Kookaburra Cafe during school pick ups on Thursdays and Fridays.
