News from Grade 5-6
In Term 1, for our Science focus we are studying BUGS. So far our investigations have provided opportunity to develop our researching skills through many activities. We have compared types of sources finding out which are more reliable. Using tools and real-life food examples, we have conducted comparative investigations learning about bug adaptations. As well, we have collated lists of interesting names and concepts and through researching ‘dug deeper’ finding out what they mean.
Our projects relating to bugs have all started taking shape, and as we draw closer to mid-term we have an excursion to Romaine Park and several more engaging experiments to delve into wrapping up our Science unit.
