Student Assistance Scheme 2023 forms are now available, for eligible families that have not previously applied.

The eligibility criteria means that if a parent holds a current Centrelink Health Care Card, Pension Concession Card or Department of Veterans' Affairs Concession Card they are eligible to apply for STAS.

Families can apply online on the Department's web page at www.decyp.tas.gov.au. Please note: parents/carers cannot apply again online if they have received STAS in 2022. If a parent/carer is wanting to add a newly enrolling students to their STAS file( i.e.,a kinder student) they simply need to email their name and the student's full name, date of birth, grade and the school they'll be attending in 2023 to stas@decyp.tas.gov.au.

If preferred hard copies are available at the school office.

Completed hard copy applications forms can be returned to the Department by post or scanned and emailed to stas@decyp.tas.gov.au. Office staff can assist with this  method if need be. Please ensure that forms are signed and dated before submitting.
