Havenview students were lucky enough to have had the opportunity to participate in the Hydro Tasmania Community Cricket Blitz on Thursday 4 August, where they enjoyed activities alongside Billy Stanlake and Julia Cavanough, between them both they have a vast amount of skill and knowledge of the game to share with our students.

Billy is a fast bowler who has represented Australia in both One Day International and Twenty 20 International Cricket, as well as Tasmania and Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash Series.

Julia is a young up and comer pace bowler who has just signed with the Tassie Tigers.

A big Thank you to Tayla Crane and Cricket Tasmania for the opportunity to be involved in the programme, a lot of fun was had by all.
